Hyderabad gets new Salesian leader
Archbishop Marampudi Joji of Hyderabad lauded the Father Noel for giving “dynamic leadership” not only for the Salesians, but also “for the CRI unit of the state.”
The installation Mass Missioners should “constantly extract” themselves from their many works to focus on their “true identity as disciples,” says a top Salesain official.
Father Kanaga, Regional councillor for South-Asia, was concelebrating Mass at the installation of Raminedi Balaraju as the fourth provincial of their Hyderabad province.
Some 850 people attended the ceremonies in Hyderabad, which also thanked Father Maddhichetty Noel, the out-going provincial for his six-year long valuable service.
Confreres, representatives from the neighboring provinces, parents and relatives of the new and out-going provincials, Salesian associates, priests and religious of Hyderabad archdiocese.
The felicitation program, coordinated by Father Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, witnessed confreres and others expressing gratitude to the out going provincial and pledging support the new leader.

Promising Father Balaraju, and the Salesians his whole-hearted support, the Archbishop encouraged the Salesians to continue spreading the charism of Don Bosco.
Father Maria Arokiam presented to Father Balaraju, a relic of Don Rua, with the same message of Don Bosco to Don Rua, when the latter took up office as the first Rector of Mirabello. The message was: “Make yourself loved.”
Father K. M. Sebastian, the former Novice Master said Father Noel’s efforts in equipping “and greatly following up the local young Salesians” were parts of achievements of his term.
Montfort Brother K.M Joseph, the CRI national president too was felicitated on this occasion.
