The magazine “is a stepping stone for us to provide theological updating to the whole world,” the note said adding that the pilot issue was released Feb. 12 at the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India center in New Delhi.

Archbishop Claudio Maria Celli, President, Pontifical Commission for Social Communications, Rome released it giving the first copy of the new publication to Cardinal Oswald Gracias.

A large team of media experts, theologians and journalists in India and abroad worked to finalize the content details and design of the magazine. Blessed Sacrament Father J Naluparayil, a noted Bible scholar is the chief editor of the new magazine.
