Montfort Brothers get 26 new men
Brother K.M. Joseph felicitated the young men saying: "You are anti-virus software of Jesus.”
The young men after taking their first vows Twenty six young men took their first vows April 24 to become Montfort Brothers in the presence of their Superior General Rene Delorm in Sitagarha, an event hailed as remarkable for the congregation.
Bishop Charles Soreng of Hazaribag and eight other priests joined the liturgy. The bishop in his homily encouraged the young men, most of them tribal people, to focus on serving the people through rest of their life.
Brother P.T. George received the vows of the Brothers of Ranchi Province, Brother K.M. Joseph, the National Council chairman and Provincial Superior of Hyderabad Province received the vows of the Brothers of Hyderabad Province and Reverend Brother Superior General received the vows of the rest of the Brothers.
Brother K.M. Joseph felicitated the young men and said, “You have taken one step; Jesus has taken a giant step. You are Anti Virus Software of Jesus.”
Cyril Beck congratulated the newly professed Brothers on behalf of the parish. Two of the newly professed Brothers gave vote of thanks in English and in Hindi.
