Vinnarasi Mission Maranodai Bangalore organised a grand sound and light Passion play on March 30, 2012. Incidents from everyday events of life were related to the Passion of Christ. Nearly 100 school students were the protagonists. The huge public turnout appreciatively witnessed the event.

This play was in immediate preparation for the Holy Week and proved an effective method of catechesis and evangelisation. The students displayed their acting and dancing skills on four stages simultaneously. Despite insufficient time for practice, with the busy exam schedule, the students performed splendidly. The enamoured audience remained long after the conclusion and went away pondering the good news in their heart. The sound and light Passion Play had been scripted by Fr. Antony Christy, sdb.
